Our guests can’t resist our Berkshire Breakfast

Start your day with our sumptuous Berkshire breakfast buffet from 8:30-10am to start your day off right. We serve a healthy but savory Western Massachusetts breakfast with low sugar, high protein, and locally sourced ingredients.

You’ll wake to the aroma of freshly ground coffee, seeping through the rafters into your room. When you saunter downstairs for breakfast, you simply must sample one of Angela or John’s legendary dishes. Perhaps, you will get to try the Spinach and Mushroom Baked Eggs or Almond Meal Buttermilk Pancakes. Or, maybe the breakfast entree will be White Cheddar and Dijon Baked Eggs, a Frittata, Eggs Scrambled with Boursin and Salmon, or Cinnamon Baked French Toast with local maple syrup or fruit sauce. Is your mouth watering yet?

Sometimes, we’ll make a treat we’ve learned from our trip to Greece or a German breakfast favorite. We can thrill our guests with Strawberry Scones made with fresh strawberries and ricotta, Honey Lavender Scones, or “Bernie Who” Cake! We always feature breads from the Berkshire Mountain Bakery and freshly squeezed orange juice. In addition, we also serve creamy Greek yogurt with Bola Granola as well as Irish Oatmeal with a variety of toppings: slightly toasted walnuts, organic banana chips, organic raisins, and cinnamon.

Fresh fruits abound, sometimes served as fruit salad and sometimes on a platter so you can choose your favorites! Our buffet also always includes options for vegetarian guests. We do our best to accommodate special dietary needs and always have gluten-free options and a variety of non-dairy milk.

We have a variety of traditions and daily specials at the inn as well. On Saturdays during the summer, we continue the tradition of bagels and lox with all the delicious garnishes, like heirloom tomatoes and cream cheeses. Because John is a coffee snob and hopes you are, too, we grind coffee beans freshly roasted by No. Six Depot Coffee Roastery daily. Because Angela likes tea, we serve at least eight varieties of Harney Tea.

The staff will be on hand to refill your mug and suggest interesting and knowledgeable ideas for your day in the Berkshires of Massachusetts!

Have Afternoon Tea at the Inn

Come back to the inn for afternoon tea Friday and Saturday at 4pm, served in our spacious library. Cozy up in front of the fireplace with a cup of freshly brewed Earl Grey tea, and indulge in some delicious hand-baked scones. You’ll be refreshed and ready for your evening out at a concert, theater performance, or one of the area’s fine restaurants!

Bed and Breakfast Guest Pantry

Our guest pantry provides two small refrigerators, an ice machine, and a Keurig machine for coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. Raid our cookies jar and help yourself to mugs, silverware, and wine glasses. Plan a picnic at one of the umbrella-shaded tables in our delightful garden, or munch on a midnight snack!
