It’s Time To Plan Your Berkshires Ski Vacation

Berkshires Ski VacationThe new year is almost upon us and now is the time to plan your Berkshires ski vacation. Bousquet Mountain, Jiminy Peak, Ski Butternut, and many others are just minutes from the door of our Berkshires B&B – so what are you waiting for?

There’s never a bad time to visit the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. Shopping, antiquing, dining, museums, and numerous opportunities to visit the stage remain a constant whether it’s spring, summer, winter, or autumn. When the snow flies here, it only serves to make our rolling hills and quaint towns that much more magical.

And winter sports? Downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, sledding, ice skating, snowshoeing, and snowmobile tours are all in the area. Some of the area’s best are an easy drive from our Lenox inn. (more…)

Winter Fun – Skating and Snow Shoeing

We heard from our friends at Canterbury Farm (Becket, MA) that the skating conditions and snow shoe trails are open. They snowshoe and ice skate rentals for you! – if you would like to get outside for this beautiful weekend. There is not enough snow to open for cross country skiing, but the ice is smooth, trails are beautiful and maybe a little snow on Saturday. There’ll be a nature tour Sunday at 11am, taking you to Beaver and Bird habitats.
