Canterbury Farm Cross Country Skiing – 1986 Fred Snow Road, Becket, MA: 25 minutes from Brook Farm Inn.

Notchview offers 25 miles of scenic, forested ski and snowshoeing trails running high atop the Berkshires. They also provide picnic shelters, a cafe, and equipment rentals. www.thetrustees.org

Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort – 37 Corey Road, Hancock, MA: 35 minutes from Brook Farm Inn
