Berkshire Museum Festival of Trees 2017The annual Berkshire Museum Festival of Trees is back with a “Whimsical, Wonderful” forest of creative Christmas trees to tour. Don’t miss a chance to catch this festive, holiday display, running from November 18th, 2017 through January 7th, 2018.

Come see a unique forest of imaginatively decorated Christmas trees at the Berkshire Museum. This annual, holiday exhibit features a broad variety of independent and festive trees, unlike any others you have seen before.

All the Christmas tree creations are put together by local organizations, businesses, and schools. The exhibit serves as an annual fundraiser for the Berkshire Museum, with proceeds going towards the museum’s educational programs. Consequently, visiting the Berkshire Museum Festival of Trees isn’t just a good time – it’s also a good deed. Now that’s the holiday spirit!

Visitors to the Berkshire Museum Festival of Trees will see some very whimsical creations. You’ll see unlikely and bizarre trees, whimsical trees, trees inspired by tales of fantasy, and things I can’t even imagine. This isn’t your living room’s Christmas tree!

Not only that, this year you can also play a game of “I Spy” with the exhibit. Christmas tree creators have been asked to place an object of their choice on their tree for visitors to search for. Fun!

The 2017 Berkshire Museum Festival of Trees kicks off on the evening of November 17th with a Festive Preview Party. Guests will be treated to live entertainment in the form of C. Ryder Cooley and his surreal Jazz classics. Bowey the Clown will also be on hand creating imaginative balloon creations. Snacks will be provided by Chef Laura Shack of Firefly Gastropub and Catering and will be accompanied by complimentary beer, wine, and festive signature cocktails.

Attendees to the Festive Preview Party will be the first to see the Festival of Trees. If you’d like to count yourself among their number, tickets are available online – but they won’t be for long!
