Tanglewood Ticket Sales Start Sunday

Starting at 10:00AM tomorrow tickets for the summer program at the Tanglewood Music Center will be open to the general public.  The season stats on June 21st and runs through Labor Day.  Some of the highlights of the schedule this year are:

  • June 1st Melissa Etheridge in concert
  • June 22nd Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops symphonic tribute to Jerry Garcia’s Grateful Dead repertory with guitarist Warren Haynes
  • June 29th A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor
  • July 4th Jackson Browne with Sara Watkins, Fireworks following the concert
  • July 5th Opening Night with soloist Joshua Bell
  • July 13th West Side Story
  • August 6th Tanglewood on Parade
  • August 8th-12th Festival of Contemporary Music
  • August 15th Yo Yo Ma presents the Goat Rodeo Sessions
  • August 24th Film Night with Sir John Williams
