Herman Melville’s Home, Arrowhead, Is Open Now

Arrowhead Museum, the site where Herman Melville crafted his epic novel Moby-Dick, will be open extended hours for the holiday period. In addition to opening Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 3 pm, the museum will be open for tours on Thursday and Friday, the 27th and 28th of December from 11 am to 3 pm. Guided tours will be on the hour at 11, 12, 1,  and 2. In addition the gift shop will be open.

Arrowhead is located at 780 Holmes Road in Pittsfield, within 10 minutes of Brook Farm Inn, our Lenox B&B.
