There is poetry here…it’s what distinguishes Brook Farm Inn, in Lenox MA. And our Berkshires B&B will be hosting a poetry reading by the distinguished James Arthur, on Saturday, June 2nd at 3:00 P.M. James is this year’s recipient of the Amy Clampitt fellowship, so he’s currently residing in Amy Clampitt’s home in Lenox. James Arthur‘s poems have appeared in The New Yorker, The New Republic, Poetry, The American Poetry Review, and Narrative. We eagerly anticipate the publication of his new book this fall.
“That feeling of becoming a new person in a different place, even if it’s an illusion, is intoxicating to me, and always has been. I love writing about places, but only places where I don’t belong.” —James Arthur
Guests staying at Brook Farm Inn are invited to attend the poetry event, which will include refreshments. Anyone interested in joining us can phone at 800-285-7638. (POET)
