Shakespeare & Company’s 35th Anniversary Season will include Academy Award-winner Olympia Dukakis as Prospero in The Tempest, Dennis Krausnick in the title role of King Lear, and OBIE Award-winner John Douglas Thompson in a new one-man play about Louis Armstrong, Satchmo at the Waldorf written by Wall Street Journal drama critic, author and librettist Terry Teachout. All this, plus compelling new works in our Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre: Cassandra Speaks starring Tod Randolph, Parasite Drag with Elizabeth Aspenlieder and Jason Asprey, plus The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife directed by Jonathan Croy and featuring Annette Miller.
