The Boston Globe calls it “laugh-out-loud funny all the way through.” In the hilarious whodunit The Real Inspector Hound, playwright Tom Stoppard displays surgeon-like theatrical deftness in the form of a dead-on parody of both the parlor mystery genre and the conventions of theatre critics—not to mention the frustrated aspirations of “second stringers” everywhere. It’s being performed through November 7th, so there’s still time, and the foliage season has just begun.
