The Selectmen in the town of Lenox have proclaimed
Sunday June 29th, 2008
“Beatles Day in Lenox”.
From2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Lenox Library, a panel of clever, knowledgeable experts will reveal all the secrets of Beatles’ music (mysteries of the Walrus, and why Polythene Pam made “News of the World”)
At 7:00 pm at the Duffin Auditorium at Lenox High School, the music comes alive - a Beatles Music Concert!
Some of the top musical talent in the county will play Beatles covers. We’ll also have a 1960s costume contest as well as a display of Beatles memorabilia. You’ll also have the opportunity to win raffle prizes from local restaurants and merchants.
Don’t forget – all proceeds from the day will benefit the Lenox Library.
Pricing:
$7.00 for the Clever Experts
$15.00 for the concert
$20.00 for both
Children: $5.00 for the Clever Experts; $10.00 for the concert.
